Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC/GFRC)
Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete or GRC/GFRC, is a concrete based materials specifically invented to make building Facade. GRC facade panel is produced by casting the GRC into a custom-made mould, usually come with steel hollow section skeleton, and cured under a controlled environment in the factory, before it being delivered to the project site and install onto the building.
GRC mixture is generally consists of Alkali Resistant glassfibre, cement and silica sand, mixed with the clean water and additives.
GRC facade is durable, strong and very versatile. It provides tremendous flexibility to the designers in achieving their design intention. The thin cut-section of only 12 mm to 15mm thk is also very lightweight compare to other facade materials.
The combine of Its strength and lightweight advantages enable the GRC facade panel to come in huge panels, this can reduce the panel joint which is always preferred by the designers.
Our Arck-Prime series GRC facade panels can come with pre-finished colour and custom-make shapes and patterns. Its also can come with various surface treatment such as polished, acid etched and exposed aggregate, etc
Since its introduction in 1960’s, GRC remained as one of the most popular facade materials worldwide.
